Encapsulated attics are an increasingly popular construction method being used around the country. In homes that don’t have encapsulated attics, the duct work in the attics is considered to be in unconditioned space. This is not the case with encapsulated attics. In this learning lab attendees will learn the difference between encapsulated and attics that are not encapsulated and how this effects load calculations and equipment sizing.
