What's Your Agenda?

ACCA talks to you all year long, but do you ever take the time to talk back?
Among the most important sessions you can attend at the 42nd Annual Conference and Indoor Air Expo, the town hall meeting is your chance to help shape the association’s priorities for the coming year. For ACCA members only, this investment of your time is one that offers paybacks all year long. You tell us what challenges and opportunities you’re facing, and we’ll pursue these topics for the rest of the year with the power of a full-time, well-rounded staff.
“This session brings contractors from across the country together with the ACCA staff to keep the association focused on issues and challenges that matter most to its members,” says Kimya Cajchun, director of membership and federation relations. “This yearly forum has consistently produced clear direction for the association as we work to provide the most valuable services possible to our members.”
Given the challenging external conditions, namely the economy and emerging government rules and programs, it’s particularly important for members to share what concerns them, what challenges their businesses, and what opportunities provide the most potential for running a successful contracting company.
"ACCA provides contractors a voice in Washington, which is certainly difficult to accomplish on an individual basis,” says Charlie McCrudden, vice president of government relations. “The town hall session ensures we are addressing the most important and topical issues with that voice.”
This agenda-shaping meeting will take place on Monday, March 8, 2010. To make your plans to attend this session, as well as the rest of the industry event of the year, start by registering today.
